The Dream
It has been Patti's long-time vision to open the FB Seaside Cottage, where she loves the community and wanted to provide concierge gift services and feature products from true artisans. Patti wanted to include her sister, Julie, in her vision. Therefore, Julie will be operating her business, Out of the Blue Jewels, inside the cottage. Julie provides expertise and services in finding, fixing, or fabricating custom jewelry.

Patti is a cornerstone of the Flagler Beach, Florida, community, known for her deep-rooted commitment to local culture and hospitality. As the visionary behind The FB Seaside Cottage, she has created a premier coastal retreat that reflects the unique charm of the "Old Florida" lifestyle.
A Legacy of Local Leadership
Before transitioning into the hospitality industry, Patti served as the Executive Director of a beloved local museum. In this prestigious role, she was instrumental in preserving the heritage of the Palm Coast region, fostering a sense of history and community pride. Her leadership at the museum solidified her reputation as a dedicated advocate for Flagler County’s cultural landmarks.
From Northern Virginia to the Florida Coast
Originally hailing from Vienna, VA, Patti traded the bustling D.C. suburbs for the serene Atlantic shoreline many years ago. Today, she is a true "local," possessing an intimate knowledge of Flagler Beach’s hidden gems—from its famous cinnamon-colored sands to its eclectic dining scene.
About FB Seaside Cottage
Patti’s transition from museum director to boutique host was a natural evolution of her passion for storytelling and guest experiences. At The FB Seaside Cottage, she combines her professional background in curation with a personal touch, offering visitors a stay that is both authentically local and impeccably hosted
Meet: Julie Sanders
Julie’s passion for jewelry began at an early age, starting with collecting pieces within her reach and thoughtfully trading up over time. As her interest evolved, she developed a deep appreciation for colored gemstones and a desire to better understand fine jewelry. What began as a
hobby soon revealed how complex and intimidating the industry could be, inspiring her to pursue formal education. In 2016, Julie earned her Graduate Gemologist (GG) certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), combining technical expertise with a lifelong love of jewelry collecting and design.
